  Wow. I will try to use words to describe today, but I doubt I will do it justice. You see, when I graduated Hokes Bluff HS, I left with the intention of NEVER coming back. With that said, some people decided to build a church in the middle of a field in "Ball Play" outside of Hokes Bluff. The pastor was formerly a truck driver. With that said, something incredible is happening there. After visiting a few times, Traci and I joined this church. We have never been in a place where so many good, flawed, hard working, tired yet still hungry people gather and amazing things happen. As an example, today, sitting in the back of the church (packed house), I observed the following: To my right, my parents who I have not attended church with since I was a little boy. To my left, Traci's family, and her brother's family. Beside Traci sat a dear friend who we haven't seen in months and who we have missed greatly who decided to join us. After an incredible sermon, our dear friend accepted Christ and Traci went to the alter with her. Several other people accepted Christ including one couple and a lady who was a senior adult. Afterwards, my sweet sister in law was Baptised. All of this in what was just a field with a guy who was just truck driver, 1000 or so tired hard working people and my jacked up self.. It is incredible when regular people become part of an incredible movement. Just by following Christ.. Thank you to Pastor Joey and all of those at U3B for allowing us to be part of something amazing!
